Since I have been working at Wagner International Company, I started to think about the interpreter job, and found myself with two main questions. Why do people become interpreters? What is it that draws people to this job? After some time in the industry, I consider I can answer these questions and today I will try to make it easier and explain everything about it.

1. Freetime

Working as a distance interpreter, you can plan your day, month, year, just as you wish. You are not dependent on the office schedule; you can work during the day but also at night. During the day, you can communicate with your family, friends, and at night, you can work if that is what you want.

2. Salary

You will be able to manage your own budget independently. By working at school, office, shop for eight hours, you get a fixed, often a small salary. Working as an interpreter, you are able to receive the salary that you need because you choose the number of orders.

3. Opportunity to learn the culture of another country

Being a translator means a bridge between two countries, languages and people. A translator helpspeople to understand each other since ancient times. When you work as an interpreter, you can learn more about the culture of another country, its customs, and preferences of the people. In addition, you can be the first to read original works.

4. The need

The need for the services of an interpreter is increasing every year. Countries are developing, trade between them is developing and the need of communication is growing. As a result, there are many people who work in this area and many entering the market.  Translators have the freedom to choose their work styles.

5. Indispensability

Despite the efforts of scientists to replace the human being, they have not manage to equal humans’ capacity. The machine does not know the shades of speech and its features.

In summary, the profession of an interpreter is interesting and an indispensable job.
