A Project Manager (PM) is the one responsible for the whole project, so he should have a special personality to have the project success.

A PM should know that a successful project is always done by a great team. So as the team is the backbone of any project, it should be strong and well prepared.

The most important qualification that project manager should maintain is the bond: he should build a strong bond with his team, in a way that they would prefer working with him rather than with other people. In this sense, the PM should pay attention to important issues such as: how to prepare a great team in attitude and qualification, who can help me with my deadline and my budget, etc. For instance, when a PM is working with new members and he is not sure about their performance he should test them first before starting the project with them.

A Project Manager should be able all the time to answer the team’s questions. Helping them resolve problems and doubts not only accelerate the work and improve the result of the project but also gives a PM the tools of leadership and inspires the team.

A great Project Manager:

• Should be careful of time management and deadline: he should know how to manage time and know how to lead people to let them respect time and deliver work in a high quality.
• Should always build in his team skills and inspire them to do better all the time, not only choose one with high skills.
• Should not only stay on track, he should know that the track has some curves and he should find good solutions in a good time to save the deadline and the quality of the project.
