Quality assurance means that the product or service meets all client’s requirements. Having a successful service that meets the clients’ needs is certainly not easy, which is why we will learn together how to control quality to let it meet all client’s expectations.
To control quality and make sure that everything is working in a good way, we have to learn how to cooperate and work in teams efficiently, how to communicate with each other as a project manager and how to appreciate others’ work to keep them motivated for future work.
Motivation is like nutrition for a human, it’s really essential to move and work and a leader has to make sure he motivates his team members. The idea is to focus on being seen as a leader rather than a manager. If the worker feels appreciated, they will do their best for the work and will deliver the best quality they can.
The second most important step to maintain high quality is to select your team members; we need to choose the best workers for the project or the best ones who can deliver us the highest quality. In the translation field, for example we need to choose the best Certified and reliable linguist who is expert in the context field.
The third most important is the follow up, the leader or the project manager has to follow up on his projects. Also, the linguist or worker should feel that the project is really important and needs to be done in a high quality, they should feel that someone is watching them to deliver the best quality. Rare are the people who do their work perfectly without being watched. So as a leader, it is important to follow up and answer fast to make a project success.
The fourth step to maintain high quality is to revise and check the project after it is done, This step of revision involves:
• Check client’s instructions and make sure it’s applied
• Make sure to respect the deadline
• Make sure nothing is missed in the project itself
• Make sure to respect same format and font according to the translation field
• Make sure that translation meets the quality requirement of your company
Finally, we need to know that our deliverables represent the image and prestige of the company to the other companies and agencies. Projects become not only a delivered service, but also a type of publicity.
A project well done always keeps the clients satisfied and help to gain more clients and work even it is a small project.
