Good content is crucial for companies because it sets websites apart from the masses, while conveying the message to audiences. When the message is delivered in the right way and it offers value, it gets into the minds and hearts of customers. The digital era has changed many aspects. Today, a broad distribution of content is a necessity no matter what the business field is. Even if it is a printed magazine, a company needs strong presence in Social Media. Content is what truly determines the success of websites, all other components including visual, videos, design, among others provide a secondary support role.

The secret to good content is related to a good structure. For instance, content creation needs a good process and structure in order to be successful. The first step is determining the high value customers through a proper market research. A content creator should be clear about the content goal from the first moment, as well as the personas to address and keywords.

So, before beginning with the process of structuring itself, make sure you define the goal of the content, whether it is to convert a reader into a buyer, getting the widest possible reach, etc. Second, define the persona and concentrate on it to create the best fitting content for that part of the target. Finally, the keywords are vital for getting the necessary visibility in search engines.

Once these three parameters are defined, you can start with the process of research. Conducting research will help you choose the right topic and obtaining enough relevant information to have your article. Even if you intend to write based on personal experience, adding some information from previous research will add value to your article.

Later, you can start with the process of writing. Even though there is no one set structure or framework ideal for all possible forms of written communication, the common idea is that writing should start with an introduction and finish with a conclusion. Therefore, the first step would be writing the introduction. The role of the introduction is to present the topic to the reader. You can start by providing the context or highlighting the importance of the topic you will talk about. An introduction can have one or two paragraphs; the purpose is to provide the reader a clear idea of the goal of the article.

Before writing the rest of the article, it is a good idea to develop paragraph subheadings, which will give the reader a clue about what they are going to read. The subheadings should be relatively short and engaging.

Once you have developed paragraph subheadings, you can focus on writing the paragraphs of the body. This is where readers find what you said you would tell them. In addition to developing the topic or story, you can add good information. For instance, you can quote someone relevant and related to the topic or present a situation that complements the idea. Each information added at this point should have a purpose related to the main topic.

Keep in mind that a good article will count with smooth transitions. You can achieve this through connectors or by mentioning the subject previously discussed. Finally, after making sure to set smooth transitions, you can focus on your conclusion. While most people consider that it is the part where you summarize what you told your readers, you can decide what you want to include in your closing, whether it is a message or a few additional suggestions, it is up to you and the purpose of your article.

So, to ensure good content just remember to first, introduce the readers among the context of what you are going to present, develop the main idea, create a flow that enhances readability and conclude with a small summary or relevant information.
